Our story since 2013
Founded in Bristol by Paul Harrison, the Harrison Golf Society was built on a passion for the game, keen competition, and genuine camaraderie both on the fairways and in the clubhouse.
How it all started
Established in 2013, our society began with a clear purpose: bringing together a great circle of friends for regular golf, healthy rivalry, and good times. Over the years, we have grown into a tight-knit group where everyone is welcome to have fun, and where lasting friendships flourish through competitive rounds, nearest-the-pin battles, and plenty of laughs over a drink or two afterwards.
At the absolute heart of our society is the annual Scotty Trophy, played in memory of Scott Harrison. As the standout highlight on our yearly calendar, it serves as a fitting tribute to Scott and embodies everything we stand for: sporting spirit, shared memories, and enduring friendship.
Our season culminates in the eagerly anticipated annual end of season tournament. It is a weekend where fierce competition meets great banter and plenty of celebratory drinks, honouring the winners, crowning our champions, and creating unforgettable moments year after year.
